Made from pure oats, this flour has a subtle, rich and nutty flavour. As well as being extremly ent dense, Oat Flour contains soluble fibre in the form of indigestible sugars known as beta-glucans. Suggested Use: Oat Flour can be substituted 1:1 for regular flour. Since Oat Flour doesn't naturally contain gluten, ingredients will need to be adjusted to make baked items light and fluffy. When making recipes that require yeast it is necessary to add more yeast. When making recipes that require baking powder, add 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder per cup of oat flour.
